Neither the Canadian wildfires nor the scattered storms could stop nearly 80 golfers from participating in the 2nd Annual Greater Dallas County Development Alliance Golf Outing to raise money for the Dallas County Conservation Board. The event was held on Wednesday, June 28 at the River Valley Golf Course and generated $6,000 in proceeds.
This year’s event was sponsored by Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce. Other sponsors included Bolton & Menk, Impact 7G, Kwik Star, Van Meter Community Foundation, Waukee Chamber of Commerce and the York Companies.
