The Raccoon River Valley Trail permits are available for those who plan to use the recreational trail next year.
The permit is strictly for those 18 years or older for every trail owned and managed by the three conservation boards along the Raccoon River Valley Trail that includes Greene, Dallas and Guthrie Counties. The annual permits are $10 and run from January 2023 through December of 2023. Annual permits are available for purchase online also by using the QR code on the signs that are located on the trails or with cash using a green envelope at yellow trailhead tubes. The Dallas County Conservation Board reminds folks that motorized vehicles are not allowed on the Raccoon River Valley Trail.
