The first Bike Race Directors Summit will be
held in Des Moines as part of the annual Iowa Bike Expo hosted by the
Iowa Bicycle Coalition on January 23.
Free and open to any race directors, event promotors, past, present and
future, regardless of type of race or organizational affiliation.
Sessions range from event marketing and promotion to finances and
permitting. Every session will be led by seasoned directors who have
volunteered to share their experiences and expertise. In addition to the
sessions, a roundtable lunch will offer open discussion to share
insights and ideas to help make Iowa a great place to race a bike.
