We live in a divided country. We see divides along racial lines. Divides around socio-economic issues. And here in Iowa, we’ve seen rural and urban division. And that’s why we were so excited to see the completion of the bike trail project that connects the Raccoon River Valley Trail with the High Trestle Trail.
Yes, this will create greater opportunity for cyclists looking to expand their rides. It will offer central Iowans greater recreational opportunities. It will provide benefits to hard core cyclists and runners, while also giving the casual rider greater access.
