What happens when world-class beer and a world-class gravel ride experience come together? The Goliath Gravel Grinder.
Explore the Driftless Region by bike to experience eagle sightings, trout stream crossings, rustic bridges, picture-worthy panoramic views, big climbs, fast descents… and beer! And, see it in peak fall color of oranges, yellows and reds. People come from all over every year for “peak leaf season” in this beautiful corner of Iowa.
In partnership with a world-class race director, Toppling Goliath Brewing Company invites you to join in the second annual Goliath Gravel Grinder on a world-class gravel course. This race is “geared” for every rider - from newbie to seasoned racer.
Goliath Gravel Grinder
The Goliath Gravel Grinder is a gravel ride adventure of 25k, 50K, or 100K showcasing the scenic bluffs and natural beauty of the Decorah area from the POV of unpaved roads and scenic byways. This event will be capped at 200 riders, so register today.
Race Details
DISTANCE: 25K, 50K ,and 100K
RACE START TIMES: 8:30am (100k), 9am (50k), and 9:30am (25k).
FEE: $55, $65, and $75 per ticket, depending upon distance

PACKET PICK-UP: Friday, September 27, from 4-7 p.m or Saturday, September 28, from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
CUT-OFF: Registered 100K riders who have not reached Sattre Store by 10:45 a.m. will be re-directed to the 50K course for the duration of the ride. This is for the safety/accountability of all riders. No refund of the additional $10 paid for the 100K.

Bruce Day and Mike Staebell are an Iowa-raised acoustic duo that brings high energy, quirky banter, and professional musicianship everywhere they go. With 50+ years of combined gigging experience, 20 of those years playing together, their harmonies, ability to improvise and eclectic song selection is second to none. While they both play statewide as solo performers, when they get together, it’s an event you don’t want to miss!!!
