Party Ride

Distance - 40 miles or 20 miles if you only ride one way! Your choice. Transportation is up to you.

This is the 9th year for this ride!

Nancy & Ken Carlson have organized this charity ride to raise funds and awareness for their son's disability, Fragile X Syndrome.

Nancy is a board member of the parent led National Fragile X Foundation, Heartland Chapter which serves families in Iowa and South Dakota.

This all volunteer group is part of the National Fragile X Foundation's Chapter network . It serves as a resource for professionals and parents. Through fundraisers, educational seminars and charitable donations, the group provides support for advocacy efforts for Fragile X causes and research and provides financial resources for families to access Fragile X clinics.

Route

Registration and packet pickup is 8:30 am-9:15 am at GoodSons Food & Spirits, 2815 Beaver Ave, Des Moines. Walk ups are welcome. This ride is primarily on trails with some limited road riding.  Goodsons in Beaverdale will be open in the morning for those that want to start with beverages. Then continue to ride to Mickey's Irish Pub, 50 SE Laurel in Waukee for lunch. We will be heading to  515 Brewing Co at 7700 University Ave, Clive, then onto Exile Brewing Co, 1514 Walnut St, Des Moines before ending back at GoodSons Food & Spirit, 2815 Beaver Ave, Des Moines.  The ride will end between 4pm - 5pm. Raffle tickets will also be available. The top fundraiser will receive a prize!

$35 Registration (by May 31)

Walk ups - $40 Registration.

includes 1 FREE beer at 515 Brewing Co, 1 FREE beer at Exile Brewing Co, drink and food specials and a t-shirt (cut off 2 weeks prior), plus just great company! Many of those riding have ridden every year - it's that much fun!
