Join us for the 9th Annual FORE! Our Parks golf outing and bike ride at Waveland Golf Course. Learn about Des Moines’ parks while supporting the economic, environmental, health and recreational benefits they provide central Iowans.

Each year we strive to support the Des Moines Parks and Recreation in the best way possible.  Throughout the years the Friends of Des Moines Parks has contributed almost two million dollars in support of park projects. The funding has helped thousands of children learn how to swim, built playgrounds and nature trails, purchased E911 Trail markers, as well as assisting with recreation programs/special events.
