A group of nearly 60 teens who are part of Dream Team Des Moines kicked off their Memorial Day weekend Saturday by biking the 45-mile Summerset Trail from Des Moines to Indianola at 7:30 in the morning, camping out and then doing it all over again on Sunday.
The teens have been honing their biking skills since early March, preparing for the week-long bike ride across Iowa, RAGBRAI, that goes from July 22-29.
