Cyclists in Ankeny can join officers from the Ankeny Police Department for a bike ride next weekend.
The Pedal with Police ride will feature bicycle safety information, a bike rodeo, a helmet giveaway, and the option of a two mile ride to the new pedestrian bridge or a 15 mile ride through Ankeny. The event runs from 8am-10am on Saturday, May 6th.
The event is free and open to the public.
