Hundreds of volunteers are needed as the City of Storm Lake prepares to be an overnight stop on the 50th anniversary of RAGBRAI.
Citizens are invited to join one of multiple local committees, host bike riders, and also volunteer on the day of the event, as many different opportunities are available. Storm Lake will be the first overnight stop of RAGBRAI on Sunday, July 23rd.
Storm Lake RAGBRAI Executive Committee Co-Chair Carl Turner said they had around 470 volunteers the last time the city hosted RAGBRAI in 2015.
