For the sixth time, Charles City has been selected as an overnight stay for RAGBRAI.
The 2022 route for the bicycle ride across Iowa was announced Friday night, with Charles City tabbed as the overnight host for Thursday, July 28th. Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce Tourism Coordinator Ginger Williams says their push to bring the bike riders back to town for the first time since 2017 started last fall.
Charles City RAGBRAI committee member Emily Garden says the response to another stop in Charles City was highly enthusiastic at this weekend’s Iowa Bike Expo in Des Moines.
