The Chichaqua Valley Trail will be closed during the day starting December 2 through January 1, 2021 just West of Bondurant between NE 64th St. and Grant St. for repairs to be made on the Mud Creek Bridge.
The trail will be reopened every weekday night and remain open on the weekends.
Please use caution in this area as large construction equipment will be operating on the trail.

BIKEIOWA NOTE: We asked if there was an official detour. The answer was no because there was not way to identify a safe bike lane on the paved county roads. See the second map for an "UNOFFICIAL DETOUR". This is the route we would take if we were riding this area when the trail was close for construction. If you take this unofficial detour, you ride at your own risk. BIKEIOWA is just helping folks identity another route around the construction if they must ride that specific section of the trail during this time period.
