Heavy Rain Leads To DM Trail Closures

Des Moines, IA City of Des Moines Park and Recreation Department officials said Friday that they have temporarily closed some trails following heavy rains. The Gay Lea Wilson trail is temporarily closed from Sargent Park to Hubbell Avenue, and under the Easton Avenue bridge. The Bill Riley Trail is temporarily closed under the railroad trestle bridge. The Walnut Creek Trail is temporarily closed at 63rd Street and Grand Ave.
