Cedar Rapids Public Hearing on Proposed Trail Repair Plans
June 24
On Wednesday June 24, 2009, the City of Cedar Rapids City
Council will have a public hearing to consider the proposed
plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated cost
for the Trail Flood Repair & Levee Repair (A Street SW)
project. The plans include repairs to the Cedar River
Trail, Sac and Fox Trail, Ellis Trail, and the A Street SW
levee. Bids are scheduled to be opened July 2, with
construction beginning August 10 and complete by September
2009.
The public hearing will be during the City Council meeting
on June 24, 2009 at 5:30 pm at the Aegon Auditorium, 4333
Edgewood Rd NE, west side entrance. All citizens are
encouraged to attend City Council meetings. Anyone
interested in matters under consideration may sign up
before the meeting to address the City Council in formal
