Northeast Iowa boasts more than 200 miles of picturesque biking trails, spanning seven counties and catering to riders of all skill levels. This extensive network has solidified the region as a can't-miss biking destination in the Midwest, while also serving as a vital economic driver for local communities.
Northeast Iowa Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D), in collaboration with the Northeast Iowa Tourism Association (NEITA), recently unveiled a comprehensive biking map featuring 28 trails across Allamakee, Buchanan, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek counties. The folding map offers detailed information on trail length, difficulty levels, surface types, alongside amenities such as trailhead parking, fix-it stations, restrooms and water stations.
