Jenni Klise says she was almost hit while riding her bicycle along the trail on Labor Day. A week later, she says she's grateful to see something being done.
Neal Smith Trail is a welcome path for bicyclists, people looking to go for a run or jog, or anyone interested in just going out for a walk. However, some people who use the trail often say there have been moments they've had to dodge out of the way of motorized vehicles.
"An SUV was heading right for me," said Jenni Klise, who uses the trail often with her bicycle. "I ended up having to ditch into the trail."
