The city of West Des Moines purchased the current Rassy’s location as part of its plans to widen Grand Avenue beginning this spring. This inspired ERIK’S to re-imagine their presence in the West Des Moines community. We’ll not only continue to offer an awesome selection of high-quality bicycles and bike gear, but our new expanded shop will allow us to also sell skis, snowboards, and an assortment of winter gear, plus skateboards, scooters, and longboards.
New location highlights:
- Triple the sales-floor area!

- A second-floor mezzanine for expanded bike maintenance services!
- Snowboards, skis, and winter gear (October – February)!

New hours and closures:
Rassy’s Bike Shop at 301 Grand Ave in West Des Moines will be open through Sunday, May 9th.The shop will be closed on Monday May 10 — Thursday May 13th for the move.
We will open in the new ERIK’S location in front of Val Lanes at 950 1st Street in West Des Moines, Iowa on Friday May 14th at 11am!
Please note, all repairs picked up after Sunday, May 9thwill be at the new store location.
