Are you up for an epic adventure this July? Take a ride through Colorado’s majestic mountains for the 32nd Anniversary of the legendary Triple Bypass. Join more than 4,500 participants who will enjoy music, food and fun after taking on and meeting the challenge.

The Triple Bypass, presented by Team Evergreen, is one of Colorado’s premier cycling rides and is celebrating its 3st Anniversary this year. One day in July 1988, a group of avid cyclists decided that it would be fun and challenging to ride from Evergreen to Vail, Colorado. And so it was, 32 years later and thousands of more cyclists riding beside them. The Triple Bypass returns July 13, and takes you on a gorgeous tour through the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains from Evergreen to Avon while climbing three epic mountain passes.

Saturday, July 13, the Triple Bypass begins in Evergreen (Bergen Park) and heads west 120 miles riding over three majestic peaks, Juniper Pass (11,140 ft.), Loveland Pass (11,990 ft.), Swan Mountain and Vail Pass (10,560 ft.) and finishing in the town of Avon. Cyclists will climb over 10,000 ft. of challenging elevation gain with limited vehicular access and closed roads, making for a thrilling, safe and fun ride.

New for this year, cyclists have the opportunity to ride two shorter versions. The Double Bypass, which will begin in Georgetown and ride 75 miles while climbing over two passes finishing in Avon or The Single Bypass, starting in Copper Mountain and riding 40 miles over Vail Pass and finishing at the same destination.

It’s back! For 2020 only, we are bringing back the big daddy, the Double Triple Bypass. Ride from Evergreen to Avon, wake up the next day and ride back to Evergreen. Includes a limited edition wind vest, timing on Sunday, all the Triple goodies and the admiration of your peers. 20,000 vertical feet. You double-rock!

Get on board for one of the most epic rides in the nation. Head west over Juniper, Loveland and Vail pass, finishing after 120 glorious miles and 10,000 vertical feet. You rock.

The Double Bypass

Georgetown to Avon (Sat only)
Looking to make it less daunting? How about 2 incredible passes – Loveland and Vail over 75 miles? Less than the full Triple, but one heck of an achievement.

The Single Bypass
40 Miles
Breckenridge to Avon (Sat only)
Sleep in, join your friends and family in Copper Mountain and ride 40 miles over Vail Pass into Avon. Great views on one of the best parts of the course.

Timing on Sunday- New for 2020!
Riders on Sunday (including Double Triple) will have a timing chip in their number plate and the uphill portions of the passes will be timed. Timing is Gran Fondo style and the Triple Bypass is not a race. Only one to beat is the clock. Awards? There will be awards.
