About Josh Lederman

He has been a cyclist since age 6. He started mountain biking in college at Iowa University. Around 30 Josh started to get more serious and started competing in triathlons. He was not out to win, but to finish.

The different disciplines of the triathlons were getting old, so Josh turned to gravel riding for its challenges and unique scenic beauty. "Iowa has plenty of gravel roads, so it is easy to train on" Josh says.

Josh still enjoys road riding, but the gravel is his passion now. It is in his blood.

His latest accomplishment was finishing Trans-Iowa TI9 which is a self-navigated, self-supported, 300-plus mile gravel road event held in late April primarily on Iowa's gravel roads. Almanzo 100 in Minnesota, and Dirty Kanza, a 200 self-navigated, self-supported, 200-mile gravel road race in Kansas.
