Triathlon - multi-sport

Grab your team member and take part in this event in the Turkey River Corridor!  Two-person teams will canoe the Turkey River from the Turkey River Canoe launch to Gilbertson Park, ride their bikes back to Pleasant Valley Sports Club via the TRRC trail, and play 9 holes of golf in a two-person best shot event.

Route

Leg #1—Canoe/kayak race from Valley Canoe Launch to Gilbertson Park (3.1 miles) [All canoes/kayaks must have proper Iowa registration and life jackets will be required for all participants during the water race]*
*Canoe/kayak leg of the race is dependent on safe water levels: Rain Date is July 19th, 2015

Leg #2—Bike race/ride from Gilbertson Park to 245th Street (3.4 miles) Pleasant Valley [Bike helmets are required during the bike race/ride]

Leg #3—9 hole 2-person best shot golf round

Registration fee is $50/team ($60/at the event)
(Includes green fees, race insurance, and a T-shirt!!)
Register by June 12, 2015 to receive an event t-shirt!
