Come celebrate the launch of the central Iowa version of the Iowa By Trail app and the kick-off of Bike to Work month! Join us for drinks, food, and demos of the app.
After 30 years of helping to establish Iowa as the World Capital of Trails, the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation is pleased to announce “Iowa by Trail,” the all-Iowa multiuse trail app and website. INHF partnered with Shift Interactive, an Iowa-based company to create the app and website.
App features
Iowa by Trail provides an interactive map that allows users to:
- Geo locate their position and find the closest trail.
- Find points of interest along the way, like local restaurants, museums and natural resource information.
- Communicate with friends and followers about what they did along the trail.
- Keep track of distance, weather, news and events.
