An enjoyable ride over gently-rolling
hills, past Amish homesteads of Kalona, and over old stagecoach routes. Registration Includes breakfast, lunch, hot showers, rest stops, detailed route
maps and SAG support. The Century ride leaves IMS around 7 am; other rides depart
between 8 and 11 am. The ride is known for its entertaining and well-stocked
rest stops.
The Courage Ride raises funds for cancer research at the
Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa Hospitals and
Clinics. Over $40,000 was raised in 2013; more than $250,000 has been raised
since 2005. The Courage Ride is sponsored by Bicyclists of Iowa City. For ride
