Distance - Saturday - 65 miles Sunday - 55 miles
June 28, 2003 7:00 AM leave College Green Park and ride to Lake Darling. Have a catered meal for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Set up camping site. Hike around the lake, have fun at the beach or rent a paddle boat. Sunday June 29, 2003 have a light continental breakfast and ride back to College Green Park.
Route
The ride will leave the park at 7:00 AM. The first stop is at Lindy's Bar and Grill for snacks. Then passing through Frytown on our way to Wellman, making our second rest stop at D.J.'s Casual Cafe. Then on to Keota stopping at the Malt Shop. After lunch we will ride to Richland stopping at the End-Zone Tavern & Cafe. Then it's just 7 miles to Lake Darling.
Sunday the ride will pass through Brighton, Coppock, Washington, Riverside and back to Iowa City. Saturdays ride is 65 miles and Sunday is 55 miles. Sagg wagon will carry all your luggage.
