It's not time to put the love for our bikes away or hang up the running shoes for the season quite yet.

Polk County's Water and Land Legacy Bond gives us the opportunity to not only complete key connections in our extensive trails network, but also enhance maintenance on many of the trails that make the Central Iowa Trails System a world class facility.

Join the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and Polk County Conservation on October 22 to learn how you can make a difference in Iowa's future.

Polk County Conservation's Loren Lown will discuss the reopening of the Chichaqua Valley Trail and the county's top three trail connection priorities. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to cast their vote for the next three priority projects.

Bring your friends and join us over some delicious Gusto Pizza.
