Just Plain Fun

Distance - 22 miles round trip

The ride is sponsored by New Belgium Brewing the makers of FAT TIRE BEER and el Bait Shop. New Belgium will be giving away one of their signature fat tire cruisers at the "FAT TIRE FUN RIDE FINALE", the last of the ride series in October. You must go on one of the rides during the series to register to win. TO WIN THE FAT TIRE CRUISER YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT THE OCTOBER RIDE AND SORRY THE PREVIOUS YEAR'S WINNER IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN. Each ride will have a different route with different bars and entertainment, please check the ride calendar. All ride dates and routes are subject to change due to weather and trail conditions.

Route

The destination will be Saint's Pub & Patio at 265 50th Street in West Des Moines, IA which just happens to be 25 feet off the bike trail! The route: From the Bait Shop take the Meredith Trail to Bill Riley Trail, then cut through a few blocks in Valley Junction on Railroad Avenue for a bit, then cross over Grand and hop on the Jordan Creek Trail toward 50th. Feel free to ride all or some of it. It's a good time with good people and best of all, we are all riding Two wheels! This is a great ride for first-timers! CHECK THE MAP POSTED BY THE BACK DOOR OF THE BAIT SHOP FOR THE EXACT ROUTE.

Be down to el Bait Shop around noon the ride should start some time there after.
