Road (RACE)
Distance - 58, 46 or 35 miles
The final weekend of Iowa Cup racing starts at Big Creek. Cat 1/2/3s will be vying for points and $800 paying 7 deep in a 58 mile race. Most other categories will be racing 46 miles, the exception being Beginner/Cat 4 Women, who will be racing 35 miles. A total of $2,800 cash prizes is up for grabs. Thanks to Toyota of Des Moines for supporting us for another great year!
Racing starts at 9:00 A.M. Each category leaves at two minute intervals. Masters 40+ and 50+ race together but have separate prize purses. Top 5 Iowa Cat 3 racers will be scored for Iowa Cup points.
The Big Creek Road Race is a USAC Sanctioned event. A USAC License is needed and One Day licenses will be available the day of for $10.
Route
A six mile loop winds around the eastern side of Big Creek State park with the final 2.5 miles traveling northwest through the park to the start/finish line near the beach.

Online registration is $23 plus a $2 fee for BIKEIOWA. ($25 total) One lucky winner will be drawn from all online registrants for a one year subscription to Iowa Momentum Magazine. Day of registration is $30.
