Just Plain Fun

Distance - 30 miles/ alternate 39 miles

Bike ride with lunch and hospitality at the halfway point. Pork sandwich, baked beans, cold beer,lemonade and water available for a reasonable cost. Proceeds to benefit Ottumwa Shrine Clown Unit.

Route

Main route will leave Ottumwa to the west on old highway 34 to the county line road. Then south to the town of Blakesburg where lunch will be served. Then take Blugrass Road back to Ottumwa. Route approximatly 30 miles. Alternate route will leave Ottumwa via highway 23 west and go through Chillicothe and the follow the power plant road to the county line road and then south to Blakesburg. Route is approximatly 39 miles.
