Mountain Biking

Distance - 6 Miles MTB + 2.25 Miles Run or 10 Miles MTB + 4.5 Miles Run

The Des Moines Dirty Duathlon is Central Iowa Trails Association's annual mountain biking/trail running race held at Center Trails at Greenwood Park in Des Moines, Iowa.

100% of the proceeds go towards maintaining and building local singletrack trails in the Des Moines Metro.

The Course: Incorporating professionally built singletrack throughout Greenwood Park in Des Moines, the course takes you through an old growth forest, including super fun, flowy downhill, a creek crossing, and plenty of lung-busting climbing.

Start and Finish is typically near the Jay Spence Shelter at Greenwood Park near Bergman Academy.

Route

Trail Run, Mountain Bike or do both:

• Dirty Du Sprint (Solo or Relay) 1 lap of 2.25 miles trail run, then 2 laps totaling about 6 miles mountain bike.
  

• Dirty Du Full (Solo or Relay) 1 lap of 2.25 miles trail run, then 3 laps totaling about 10 miles mountain bike, then another 1 lap of 2.25 miles trail run

• Kids Race | 1 lap run or 1 lap bike on designated kids course
