Hard to believe this fun and silly ride has been going on for over 20 years! And for the first time we will be departing from the Getaway in LaPorte City around noonish and heading north to Gilbertville! (due to a ton of repairs and re-construction between McFarland Park and Brandon) Trail is CLOSED with no workable bypass and opted not to do the highway route.
Soooooooo.... It's an all paved 16 mile round trip to the American Legion in Gilbertville... or keep heading north if you want more miles! BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND! Regional classic rock favorites "The Ice Breakers" will be burning it down in the parking lot of the Legion!! (weather permitting) or inside their large banquet hall. You'll want to bring your dancin' shoes!

This ride goes on no matter what Mother Nature throws at us! Hurricanes, tornadoes, snow, rain, sleet, tsunamis, flash floods, derachos, locust plagues, earthquakes, volcano eruptions... you get the idea!
