Trail Ride

On Saturday, April 30, join Des Moines Park and Recreation for the 2022 Mayor's Annual Ride! This annual event supports our trails.

The approximately 20-mile bike ride starts at Principal Park (1 Line Drive) and will go Lake to Lake - traveling from Gray's Lake to Easter Lake prior to ending back at the stadium.

Packets can be picked up at Des Moines Parks and Recreation Administration Office located at 1551 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Pkwy Monday, April 25 - Friday, April 29 between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Route

Adults = $35.00/$50.00 on-site
Youth = $5 for ages 5 -18 years
Children 4 and under are free

Registration fee for adults includes a t-shirt, an entry to win a free bike and refreshments at a rest stop along the route. The registration fees for youth include refreshments at the rest stop. Please register by March 20 to guarantee a t-shirt in your size.
