Fat Bike

Distance - 12 miles

Bike the first trail to connect Iowa to Minnesota!

Enjoy a 12 mile out-n-back brrrrr ride on a groomed portion of the Wapsi-Great Western Line Trail between Riceville and McIntire, Iowa. 

Proceeds benefit the Wapsi-Great Western Line Trail and go toward a groomer purchase in coordination with the Mitchell County Fat Tire Club.

Riders must register: $10

Hot Cocoa and cookies complimentary to all registered riders at the WGWL Trail Welcome Center

Optional bowl of Chili: $5 can be added during online registration.  Chili guaranteed for all those who pre-register and available to all others until gone.  Served at the WGWL Trail Welcome Center from noon-5 P.M.

Addition refreshments offered at cost will be available at Goosey's, the turn-around point in McIntire.

These events have been approved by Howard and Mitchell County Conservation boards and directly contribute to the safety and enhancement of the 26+ miles of the WGWL Trail.
