The Iowa Mountain Bike Championship Series (IMBCS) pulls into Whiterock Conservancy for the season finale and Iowa Mountain Bike State Championship on Saturday, August 24th (rain date Sunday, August 25th).
Winners here will be crowned not only the best in the State but we'll also recognize the IMBCS series winners who will earn their 2020 free entry passes!
Join us for free BBQ from Cyd’s Catering and free cold beer from Firetrucker brewery. An end of year celebration for all things mountain biking! We will have categories and classes to suit anyone’s ability, including Fat Bike, Cross Country, and Marathon races.
Whiterock Conservancy is a 5,500 acre non-profit land trust that balances sustainable agriculture, natural resource protection and public recreation on the landscape. Located near Coon Rapids, Iowa, along seven miles of the Middle Racoon River valley, they are open to the public every day for recreation and exploration. With 16 miles of bike optimized singletrack trails and 12 miles of shared used trails, there is plenty of room to find new adventures.
Whiterock also offers camping, hiking, fishing, kayaking and canoeing options. A great place for the whole family.
There are onsite shower facilities as well as excellent overnight camping available, come out the night before and pre-ride, stay after for tales of racing greatness!
