Triathlon - multi-sport

Distance - 8 mile canoe, 14 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

The 18th annual Timber City Adventure Race is a 25.1 mile excursion through Jackson County Iowa beginning with an 8 mile canoe/kayak on the Maquoketa river winding below towering limestone bluffs through secluded valleys to Royertown bridge access where you will begin a 14 mile paved bike ride that starts with a challenging incline, one of the steepest in Jackson County!  Once reaching the limestone kilns at Hurstville, you will then run a 5k into Maquoketa and finish downtown to enjoy food, inflatable boxing and chair massages!
