All routes begin and end in Mondamin, Iowa, at the New Life Church [formerly Baptist Church] on the south edge of town. Three routes: 29-mile loop through Pisgah, 37-mile trip through Magnolia and Pisgah, and 51-mile jaunt through Logan, Magnolia, and Pisgah.
29-mile route: Starts in Mondamin [New Life Church], heads to the hills, rides along the hills to Pisgah for a potty stop and some pocket-able proteins at the Loess Hills State Forest Visitor Center. From Pisgah, the route travels up Murray Hill for a beautiful sky-high view over the farmland [and Nebraska] to the west. The ride continues down to Little Sioux and River Sioux, then back south on K-45 to finish in Mondamin.
37-mile route: Same start and finish, but this ride adds some long hills toward Magnolia for a potty stop and some pocket-able proteins. Cyclists then take a scenic route to Pisgah to join the cyclists from the 29-mile route and finish in Mondamin.
51-mile route: Starts and ends with the other cyclists, but this route heads further south along the hills for a visit to the Loess Hills Lavender Farm [potty stop and snacks]. After a few more miles south, the route takes a scenic highway to Logan [F-50] for another potty stop and some pocket-able proteins at the public library. The ride continues along highway 127 to Magnolia [more pocket-able proteins!] and joins the 37-mile cyclists to finish the ride in Mondamin.
