The Local Food Cycle is a bicycle ride that encourage riders to celebrate and explore Central Iowa’s farms and natural resources. Come enjoy delicious food by area chefs and learn from some of the best farmers and naturalists Central Iowa has to offer!

After Party at West Towne Pub starts at 3:45 PM with live music from Ruthless Ruth!
This years ride will tour through western Story and eastern Boone Counties. The ride is approximately 45 miles with a stop approximately every 8 miles. We’ll visit three farms around Boone and visit Boone Valley Brewing for beer and pretzels from Salt & Pretzel. From Boone we’ll go to Ledges State Park and Tom’s Ranch in Madrid. Stay for the end of the ride party at West Towne Pub with live music from Ruthless Ruth!
