Description
After 6 months of hard work in late 2013 and nearly 300 volunteer hours logged, the
first loop at Westbrook Park has been completed! This loop is ~1.3
miles in length and generally traverses the south perimeter of the park.
There is a short climb 0.3 mi after crossing the Silver Creek bridge
(going in a CCW direction) but minimal elevation gain through the rest
of the loop. The trail was designed with meandering curves and
minimizes the use of straight lines and tight corners to improve flow
and maintain a more natural experience. Temporary signage has been
installed to mark the route of the completed loop until permanent
signage can be put in place.
