A vehicle believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident on Oct. 22 in Knoxville has been seized by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 9:03 a.m. Oct. 22, the sheriff’s office responded to a hit-and-run accident involving a motor vehicle and a bicyclist east of Knoxville near the intersection of N. Godfrey and T15. The vehicle was last seen in the area going westbound on T15 and possibly onto Robinson Street, according to a press release issued by the sheriff’s office.

Multiple search warrants have since then been conducted on the vehicle believed to have been involved, in addition to multiple electronics, the residence connected with the owner of the vehicle and members of that residence. Multiple pieces of evidence, including both electronic and forensic, were seized and sent off for review, the release says.
