Siouxland Trails Foundation is a non-profit foundation founded in December 2003 to improve trail opportunities in the Sioux City area, including Woodbury County Iowa, Union County South Dakota and Dakota County Nebraska. Among the Foundations activities in its initial year was a detailed survey of the tri-state metro trail system with recommendations for improvements to city officials. The Foundation also sponsored Tri-State Trails Tour I with over 260 registered riders. Tri-State Trails Tour II is scheduled for May 14, 2005 and can be found on the bikeiowa.com ride calendar.
