For Jason Madison, a seed was planted during a “beer-cation” in Wisconsin when his brothers-in-law jokingly suggested he open his own brewery.
A home brewer in Ankeny, Madison was a member of a local home brewers club, and when he learned at one of its meetings about a brewery relocating and updating its equipment, that seed started to take root.
Madison talkedwith fellow home brewer Steve Crann andthe duo decided to take the plunge in 2016 and turn their love of craft beer into a business. Fenders Brewing Company was born.
