Tim Funk, owner of Team WimpyCARES rode with his team in RAGBRAI, donating 2,000 dollars towards the fight against pancreatic cancer for the Michael W. Oglesby Foundation.
RAGBRAI ended in Anamosa on Thursday after riders endured through a brutal heat wave.
Part of RAGBRAI since the early 2000's, Funk and riders of WimpyCARES decided to ride for the Oglesby Foundation to pay respects for their late team member, Michael W. Oglesby.
"One of our dear friends who rode with us from 2005 to 2015 passed away from Pancreatic cancer in January 2016," says Funk. "We decided to actually start giving back our proceeds for our team every year to some certain charity."
