BILL RILEY TRAIL CLOSURE UPDATE- June 17th 2021
Work is currently on schedule and going well to this point.
Trespassing - There are an unacceptably high number of cyclists pulling down and going around the installed closure measures and riding through the work site on the Bill Riley underpass.
This is a definite safety issue given the equipment working in this tight work area.
There are also a lot of cyclists riding the tracks to get around the closure. Railroad representatives are on site daily and are noting these trespassing occurrences.
NOTE: YOU may be fined and/or photographed if you trespass and cross the work site and/or the railroad tracks.
PLEASE let the trail maintenance continue and quit crossing the barricades. The trail will be open soon enough.
