Rental canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddle-boards and bicycles are coming to the riverfront Captain Roy's.
The Des Moines City Council approved the bar'splan to offer the rentalsat Monday's meeting.
The plan, which will kick off this month, brings unique amenities to Birdland Park and the Des Moines riverfront, said Des Moines Parks and Recreation director Ben Page.
