The off road trail in Will Baker Park that leads to Pulpit Rock is being restored.
The area has been cleared of invasive species to restore the original picnic and gathering area. A wall around the area was built by stone mason John Dingley. Stone pillars have been installed at the trail head by another stone mason, John Klosterboer. New signage will be installed.
Trail restoration will be completed in early fall.
The project is being funded with money from an Iowa Great Places grant.
