Jingle Cross is set to return to Iowa City, Iowa, October 9-11, 2020, and this year will feature two gravel events. On Saturday, October 10, there will be a brand new competitive gravel race on some of the most challenging gravel roads in North America. Then on Sunday, a more recreational craft beer and poker gravel ride stopping at several local breweries. As a non-profit organization, all Jingle Cross events benefit the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. World-renowned for its demanding courses, fun atmosphere, amateur racing and local hospitality, Jingle Cross aims again to be a keystone cycling event in North America.
"Despite everything going on in the world, we are excited about the 2020 edition of Jingle Cross and hope that gives people motivation and something to look forward to," said Promoter and Race Director John Meehan. This year will be the 17th edition of Jingle Cross, and it's a testament to the hard work of everyone at Jingle Cross, the volunteers and the people of Iowa City. On Saturday, we've added a brand new gravel race, which will be followed by a more recreational craft beer and poker gravel ride on Sunday. Meanwhile, the cyclocross races will be happening concurrently all weekend at the Jingle Cross venue.
