The Raccoon River Valley Trail Association annual banquet will be here before you know it, so Dallas County Conservation encourages the public to get their tickets now.
The event doubles as a celebration of the trail and a fundraiser, with tickets available for $50 per person or $500 for a reserved table of eight. It will be held Saturday, February 22nd at the Country Lane Lodge near Adel, with a social hour from 4:30-5:30 p.m. and dinner to follow. The keynote speaker for the banquet will be Keith Kerkhoff, co-founder of Templeton Rye Whiskey. There will also be a live and silent auction, raffle drawings, and various exhibits on the trail.
