The Pottawattamie County Trails Association has selected “Frontier Iowa Trail” as the name for the trail system currently under development throughout the county.
Officials say the Frontier Iowa Trail will connect many communities in western Iowa and the concrete trail surface is expected to provide recreational opportunities for biking, running, walking, and rollerblading. Horseback riding and snowmobiling will be accessed in the open spaces next to the trail system as designated.
