CLEAR LAKE | Police in Clear Lake are seeking information about a crash that seriously injured a bicyclist last month on Main Avenue.

Gary Beach, 47, was hit by a car Sept. 27 on Main Avenue and then dragged more than 150 feet, police say.

He and his bike were stuck under the front of theHyundai Velosterwhen it came to a stop near 22nd Street.

Beach allegedly freed himself but was hospitized with what police called "substantial" injuries. He has since been released from the hospital.

Clear Lake Police Chief Pete Roth said Thursday investigators are continuing to interview witnesses and identify potential witnesses who have information pertinent to the case.

Police also are awaiting results of lab tests.

No arrests had been made as of Thursday.
