Sauk Rauk Trail closed for bridge surface replacement south of Breda

Five Bridge surfaces are being replaced with cement this week south of Breda.
Start of the bridge project was Monday, September 28th, and is expected to be done by Friday, October 2nd. The trail in the section of the bridges will be closed for a week or longer (depending on weather).

he Sauk Rail Trail Association (SRTA) was awarded a
$9,046.25 grant
from the
Warren Timmerman Trust
.
This money was earmarked to pay for materials to hard surface 5 bridges in Carroll County, and rent 3 biffies for 6 months each if there is money left over from the 5 bridge project.
