The City of Cambridge is putting new sewer under the Heart of Iowa Nature Trail and the work will begin Monday, January 12th.

The section closed will be just east of Water Street between Water and the Union Pacific Railroad Tracks.

They are going to tear up quite a bit of space (it's a big trench) so you will likely not be able to get across the trail for a while (not sure how long yet). Once the work is completed they will put back the trail just like it was before (they will replace the asphalt they are tearing up).

Trail updates will be posted here. Please pass the info along to others you might know.
