Cirque de Fairfield held a festival to welcome some 20,000 bicycle riders at the conclusion of The Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa; as many as 1,800 folks wearing false mustaches were on hand to greet the riders as they entered the city of just under 10,000 people, setting the new world record for the Most people wearing false mustaches, according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.
